Nervous wreck.

Because I didn’t plan to join it. The decision was last minute, even my husband said it would be difficult as we didn’t prepare anything, nothing yet. But I guess, because I’m hard-headed, with a strong will (I hope) and the intention to introduce sweetalmiraz to public, my husband and I managed to pull it off. Even though, we were just selling a few diaper suitcase©, stickers, kek batik and ais krim Malaysia. Actually I planned to have a photobook (to show what we have done) but of course la tak sempat kan…

We had Milo, Ribena and watermelon ais krim Malaysia. I made asam boi ones but they didn’t harden on that day. Oh well….

Then there was kek batik.The kek batik was my sister-in-law’s idea. She’s been wanting to open a laksa stall together with my aunty but my aunty is not in her perfect health (you know laksa requires more time spent as compared to making kek batik). But both of them agreed to selling kek batik instead. The kek batik was a hit!!…they were selling like hotcakes!…even the ais krim Malaysia as well!. Fancy Nasi Lemak

Whaddaya know...there is a new type of nasi lemak in town yaw'll!...It's Fancy Nasi Lemak created by Hafidzmoro (Azzamoro's husband).

What's so special about this nasi lemak? Well, apart from being tasty, it's packaging is a creative way ofputting something so simple back in the spotlight. It's what Hafidz said, to put colours in our lives....

The best part is, the sambal ikan bilis is separated from the rice so you can keep it until end of the day (in my case, I had it again at 6 pm, bought it at 9 am). Rasa dan bau still ok. I'm impressed. There's a 3 quarter cut egg inside and that's it. If you fancy your nasi lemak with fried peanuts, or fried egg, you can buy or fry it at home and have it together with this 'ohsem nasi lemak in town'.

Food Foundry, Section 17 PJ

We went to Food Foundry on a Sunday, a day normally spent in a shopping mall....something different from our normal routine. It was quite difficult to find the place as we didn't expect it to be where it is. PJ used to be my childhood place, so somehow or rather I would think that I would want to find the place (hahaha.....how ironic that I got lost when finding it).

The deco of Food Foundry is simple but with a character. I love the louvres in front and the font used for the sign.

The fact that the chairs in the place are mixed up for each table may disturb certain OCD individuals. But hey, we're here to eat so I think that's secondary lah.....

We ordered Kungfu Kuew Teow (comes with cili potong- yummmss) and Aglio Olio. The kids shared with us. Too bad there's no kids' menu.

The Aglio Olio tasted ok but if only they put at least 2 prawns, my life would be sooooo much better. There were no prawns at all!..Nothing...kosong...nada...I have never in my life, eaten a plain aglio olio. Never.

The Food Foundry is famous for its various types of Mille Crepes so it would be a waste if we didn't try any of them,

To me, the crepe is ok, tastes the same with the one I had in Humble Beginnings....seriously nothing special....(but maybe coz I didn't try the Salted Caramel crepe)...hmmmm...maybe that's why.....

Joe’s 47500 Barbershop and Kitchen

Yo yo wazzup yaw'll?...How's your week?...Hehehe...

Last Saturday we went to Joe's 47500 Barbershop to get a haircut...errr..for my guys...ie. Amir and my husband....(Amar is still small, plus he can't sit still so he just tagged along).

We reached there about 1 o-clock and it was good that there were not many patrons yet. We headed straight to the Kitchen to fill up before having our hair cut. I won't be having a haircut, so I was busy taking pictures here and there.

We ordered Pepperoni pizza and Joe's Chilli Dog. For drinks, we ordered ice lemon tea, soya bean and I ordered iced latte...(wondered why I ordered this coz i don't drink coffee)...anyway, nasib baik sedap iced latte tu.

Being in Joe's Barbershop is like being in a Barbershop in the States (not that I've been there, the nearest I've seen would be from the idiot box). I love the set up and the barbers looked so hip hop and cool!....

Both Amir and my husband had the back of their head a 'blocked nape' (nasib bukan snape). A 'blocked nape' is just a straight cut behind. Both of them also had their hair side parted and a 'taper cut'. A 'Taper cut' is when the hair gradually smoothens from one length to another, so that the thickness of the hair won't be abrupt; from short to long.

Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to meet Joe Flizzow himself that day but we saw his younger brother and his dad. Before we knew that was his dad, we were admiring how stylo that old guy was. Of course he would be stylo, he's Joe Flizzow's dad!

Located just behind TMC, Shoprite has a variety of foreign products, not found in any other normal supermarkets (maybe? I haven't done a thorough research yet).

The isles are divided into products from UK, Australia, Philippines, and Rest of the world. Sadly no products from Japan, but I think maybe its because there are already a variety of Japanese stores around here.....maybe that's why.

But I still can't find my precious Walkers Thai Sweet Chilli yang I idam-idamkan dari hari tu.

I just bought these: (sebab taktau nak beli apa…hahahha….9 tahun lama wooo dah tak ingat sgt apa yg best, tapi kalau best pun mahal of course).

Not exactly two-bite, more like four bites per brownie/macaron….and 0 trans-fat tu jangan memain. This was RM4.30 each so that makes approx RM1+ each. So precious!

Wondermilk’s 8th Cuppacakes Show

All hail to Wondermilk's cuppies!!...and Wondermilk were giving them away for FREE...yes, it was free the whole day on 30 March 2013. It was the 8th Cuppacakes Show at Wondermilk + Hello Deer in Uptown y’all.

And not just that, they had loads of FREE samples of Kopi Cap Rusa and Kopi Beruang. Even though I don't drink coffee, I just wanna get hold of the bottles! and I think everyone else had the same idea. The queue to purchase the bottled coffee and other food and beverage on that day was really long!....

There were a lot of other awesome stuffs as well! Wondermilk never fails to impress me (and I think not just me, everyone out there of course!)

When we reached there, I got little excited and didn't know where to start first (free cuppies? artsyattic shawls?, Kopi Rusa? or the Wondermilk's famous burgers?). I tried the coffee...it was ergh...(I don't drink coffee, remember?).

Then we headed to the Cupcake decorating area where my sons had a great time decorating their cuppies.

Seen here is my second son (known as the little Batman by some patrons). It was his first time so he was a little excited.

So, since the cuppies were free and prolly free flow till 10 pm, I decided to queue first, think later...err I mean, my husband queued first, and we can grab the free cuppies later. While my husband was queuing, my sons spent their time at Wondermilk's kids area.

Lastly, after buying some shawls from Arty Attic, we also bought a fridge magnet from Cufica. This is one special magnet. It’s a cut out metal.

As a conclusion, I love Wondermilk's cuppies and their amazing ideas!..suka sangat!…..Lastly, a picture of my favourite bottles right now.
